ABIDETH CHARITY

ABIDETH CHARITY

THE SEED

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Think about the scripture above. The greatest of these three is not faith, it is not hope, it is charity. You may have all the faith in this world. You may have all the hope in the world and be the most optimistic person alive, but without charity you have nothing. charity is more than just love. It is love in action. Charity is taking the steps necessary to minister to those who are in need at their point of need. Charity requires a humble spirit, a selfless attitude for the purpose of pouring ourselves out into the lives of others. The great, wonderful truth is that when we meet the needs of people, God in Heaven sees our heart and what we are doing. In the end, we will be rewarded for the work that we have done here on earth. We will reap what we sow. Those who sow charity into the lives of others will receive charity.

BIBLE READING: 1 Corinthians 13

PRAYER: Those who do not sow charity will not receive charity. It is all about being sensitive to the needs of others.
