Abounding In His Work

THE SEED
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Scripture has provided believers with yet another essential to leading successful Christian lives. The secret is to consistently abound in the work of the Lord. Since the Christian race is not always easy, we must remain unwavering and steadfast. Preaching, instructing, and serving as a gospel minister are all considered to be part of the Lord’s work. No matter what we do to further God’s kingdom, believers can always be abounding in His work. We should give it our all, whether we are onstage delivering the message, working behind the scenes cleaning bathrooms, or preparing meals for the audience: The enemy constantly targets God’s children who carry out the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. His goal is to convince you that your effort for the Lord is in vain and convince you to stop doing the Lord’s job. The only way to defeat his attack is to remain steadfast and committed while taking pleasure in the Lord’s work, knowing that your reward will undoubtedly follow. Whatever you do, put your all into it, as if you were doing it for the Lord rather than for human bosses, knowing that the Lord will repay you with an inheritance.

PRAYER
I shall not be busy for nothing, Oh Lord.
