Accept The Right To Become

THE SEED
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” John 1:12 ESV

Why would one not give oneself the chance to become a child of God? The greatest disservice one could do to oneself is to reject to become one. Becoming God’s child is the only key that gives access to both legitimate earthly and heavenly treasures. Why? Because God is the creator and owner of both domains! Jesus Christ is the only heir through whom we receive the spirit of sonship that gives divine access to becoming a joint heir with Him. What are the requirements? Just receive Jesus and believe in him. Mind you, these are two different things. To receive is to accept while belief is established in trust. It is possible to receive and not believe, total belief in Christ makes our receiving Him a legitimate act before God, an action that compliments and approve our sonship birth. So where are you in this process? Have you just received Christ, but still believe in other things? If this is the situation, then you have not started the process of fulfilling the requirements and you need to make up your mind now because there’s not much time left. And if you have received Christ and believe in Him with total trust, keep the fire burning and be vigilant that no one takes your crown. Remember that Rehab the harlot received the spies of Israeli and trusted in the God of Israel, she was adopted by the family of Israel and this gave her a place in God’s Kingdom.

BIBLE READING: Joshua 2:8-13
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I pray that you help me to receive you and continue to believe in you till the end. Amen
