THE SEED
“And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” Luke 22:44
In the garden of Gethsemane, hours before He died, Jesus knelt down to have a discussion with His Father. For quite a long time, Jesus walked in this world, the Father’s central goal was His mission. He just talked and went about as His Father guided Him. As He expected the Cross, He begged God that, assuming it was possible, assuming there was another way, if it is not too much trouble, to let this cup pass from Him, and if not, that God’s will be fulfilled. His agony was so much that he prayed and His sweat dropped as a thick blood trickling from His face. He drained for you since He has faith in you. At His Word, everything was formed. The sun ascends in the east and sets in the west since Jesus instruct it to do as such. The moon sparkles at His command. He has numbered and named the stars, instructing them to sparkle for His purpose. He framed each mountain with His hand. He cut each valley with His finger. He established each bloom. He planned each animal. However, He drained for not even one of them. He didn’t drain for the trees or the birds. He didn’t drain for the large numbers of angels. He drained for you since He has faith in what He made you to be.
PRAYERS
Father Lord, let not your pain on the cross of Calvary go in vain over my life and family, let me remain special among the saints in Jesus name.
