THE SEED
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew. 6: 24(KJV)
God is always on our side though, He created us in His very own image and He loved us first, but He cherished us more when we decided to be on His side. He has given us the will power, so we can choose whose side we want to be, but as children of God we have bowed the knee to Him and joined His army. That is why He redeemed us through His Son, Lord Jesus for our salvation, He already counted us among His heir, thereby making us enjoy every benefit accorded to heirs, among which are Blessings, Victory, Healing, Success, Upliftment and so on, and the devil on the other hand has taken over the Earth as a thief to steal, kill and destroy, so it is all bitterness, crying and wagging of teeth that man gained as a reward. It is always a good idea to be on the side of God, especially when you find yourself having to make a decision on who to side with: the world or God? A lot of times it seems easier to side with the media or Hollywood or with our peers because they seem so dominant in our lives, these are worldly things that does not profit us. Brethren, never for any reason leave God’s side, because that is the only place you can get the fullness of joy till Eternity when we will all reign with Him in Heaven. Moses in the book of Exodus requested the Israelites to choose between God and Mammon, while some chose to be on the Lord’s side and were blessed Abundantly to enjoy good rewards from God, the rest that decided to worship idols were all killed by the wrath of God.
BIBLE READING: Exodus 32: 26 – 34.
PRAYER: God Almighty, please grant us the Grace to always be on your side till Eternity. Amen.
