BE A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST
THE SEED
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)
In this verse, the Apostle Paul calls the Corinthians to follow his example, but only as he follows Christ. This is a powerful reminder that our ultimate role model is Jesus Christ, and we are to pattern our lives after Him. Paul wasn’t asking for blind allegiance but encouraging others to imitate the Christ-like life he endeavoured to live. As believers, our lives should reflect Christ in such a way that others can see His character in us. Just as the Apostle Paul sought to lead by example, we too are called to be examples of Christ’s love, humility, and obedience to God. It’s a challenge to live a life so aligned with Christ that we can confidently say, “Follow me, as I follow Him.” Let us strive to walk closely with the Lord, so that in following us, others may also be led to Christ.
