THE SEED
“Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.” Deuteronomy 5:32[KJV].
God our Father is gracious, merciful and compassionate. Yet, He will never for any reason compromise. In every case that there is a need to exercise His authority and power on any matter or anybody, He is not a respecter of anyone. His word told us in Matthew 5:48[KJV] “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect” He meant every word of it, so as children of God, we have to obey Him completely and act by His words. We cannot even pretend because He can’t be deceived or mocked He sees us to the deepest place of our heart, nowhere to hide that he does not know, reference to king David that killed Uriah so to commit adultery with the wife called Bathsheba[2nd Samuel 7:8] God did not spare him, despite his plea, the child died. Jonah too refused God’s instruction to go to Nineveh to preach the gospel, a whole ship almost capsize until he agreed to obey the instruction of God and he was protected safely to where he was sent to deliver Gods message, yours and mine might be different to the ones mentioned. Let us search our hearts and amend our ways and be holy as our Lord is.
PRAYER
Help us Lord to always remember the death of Jesus your only begotten son on the cross to remain steadfast and not compromise. Amen.
