CONTINUE YOUR PRAYERS, GOD HEARS YOU

THE SEED

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18

Some years ago, Alex, had his house repossessed as he could not pay his monthly mortgage to the bank. He told other Christian friends who joined him in prayers against the financial, homeless and hopeless situation. Luckily, another friend heard his predicament and offered him legal and financial support and he got his house back. His testimony would not be complete without the persistence and prayer network. He stressed that he used to go to the house at certain times to pray on the property for God to restore the property to his family. God indeed showed up for him as God, our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. The world is constantly evolving and so are the challenges with it, thereby triggering worry amidst the human race on how to cope and survive, including christians.Realistically, we tend to move in circles; in that as we solve one problem, another one comes up, which for a christian, indicates a continuous need for prayer. Yes, Jesus came to give us peace and when He said take heart, it means to have faith and be rest assured in Him. Trust the Lord, that those things that pose challenges, God will help you to remove them. Zerubbabel was told that the mountain would become a plain land. Our prayer session is directed at God, and we focus on Him while pouring our hearts to Him. The more we pray, the more relief we get through the power of God towards an effective solution.
