CRAFTINESS AN ANCIENT EVIL

THE SEED

”Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.” Genesis 3:1 NIV

Craftiness is a behaviour that appears to be clever but woven with dishonesty. This is a strategic move of the enemy to rub us of our divine inheritance. It is so sad that even among the congregation of God and children of the light today, the practice of craftiness has become a fashionable way of life. The fact remains that no matter how popular evil becomes, or how beautiful we make it look and even convince people of its accepted status in society,  it remains evil in the sight of God. This was the approach of the serpent with Eve in the Garden of Eden. The serpent craftily got the information needed to cause man’s downfall from her by asking a harmless-looking question, the answer from which he got the weapon needed for its deadly mission, which was to eternally separate man from God. Unfortunately, the mission was successful before God rescued mankind through Jesus Christ His son. Craftiness is an ancient diabolical practice of the Devil which has gained popularity since its first inception in the Garden of Eden. Beloved in Christ, if the outcome was doom then, what makes us think that there will be a different outcome now if we keep practising craftiness today? There is no good outcome that it can bring because the act belongs to the devil.

PRAYER: Everlasting Father, please take me far away from crafty practices, help me to live a plain life of righteousness all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen
