Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is Perfect”. (Matthew 5:48)
God hates sin. According to the Bible, God says “be perfect as your Heavenly Father is Perfect”. (Matthew 5:48) Sin is so powerful that you cannot overcome it with your strength otherwise you will be playing with fire and the fire will burn you. A life of sin will impede your spiritual growth and set you on the path of damnation. But if you confess your sins he is faithful and just enough to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Set your heart on the things above and not on the things in the world. Make the utmost effort to please God and do not give up until you find Him.What conditions or situations can bring you to sin against God? Worldly cares about what to eat, wear, ride, where to live, your health, education, marriage or career, give it to Christ. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). Let what is in your heart be more real to you than what you think God can do. There is nothing impossible for God to do. Do not entrap yourself in sin to please your worldly desires. Be separated from the influence of the world unto God. Defend yourself against sin. Give your heart to the Lord, confess your sins, surrender totally to God, and get the assurance of your salvation in the gospel, pursue wisdom, not just avoid sin.
