DIVINE DIFFERENCE

THE SEED

“Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Malachi 3:18 (KJV)

In the words of Malachi 3:18, a promise is revealed—a divine difference that distinguishes between the righteous and the wicked, those who serve God and those who do not. This distinction invites us to a deeper understanding of God’s standards and the impact of our choices. As we delve into Matthew 25:31-46, the parable of the sheep and the goats unfolds. Here, Jesus vividly illustrates the divine difference in how we treat others. Acts of compassion, kindness, and service to the least among us reflect a heart aligned with God’s righteousness. This passage challenges us to examine our lives. Are we living in a way that reflects the divine difference? Our actions toward others, especially the marginalized and vulnerable, bear witness to our commitment to serving God. Let us be vigilant, recognizing that our choices mirror eternity. We must strive to show the divine difference in a world in need of God’s love and mercy, discerning between righteousness and wickedness through our actions.
