“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1 (NKJV)
As we come to the close of the year, the best way to finish is with praise. David’s declaration in Psalm 34 was not born from a place of comfort, but from adversity. Yet he chose to bless the Lord at all times. This is the posture God calls us to embrace; not circumstantial worship, but continual praise. No matter how your year unfolded, whether full of joy, challenges, or a mix of both, God remained faithful. He walked with us, upheld you, and kept us from falling. That alone is reason enough to lift our voices in gratitude. Praise is not just an act of celebration; it is a declaration of trust in the God who brought us this far and will carry us forward. Let our closing song of the year be one of thanksgiving. Celebrate not just what God has done, but who He is; your Sustainer, Redeemer, and ever-present Help, the list of who God is in our lives is endless and categorically different because of our peculiar situations and personalities. Let’s worship Him for who He is to us.

PRAYER: Lord, I praise You for Your unchanging goodness throughout this year. No matter what I faced, you were there. I close this year with a
grateful heart and a song of thanksgiving. In Jesus’
name, Amen.
