THE SEED
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”. John 15:5 NIV.
Pruning plants facilitate healthy growth, it can only be possible if you allow the chief gardener to prune you towards the desired fruits (Gal. 5: 22-23). God intervenes by doing the pruning Himself for many reasons. He prunes to remove the dead parts from our lives, to remove things that can hinder your ability to grow, to re-invigorate you and for general improvement. Be in Spirit to recognise that it is not a punishment but for a better glory when the hand of the gardener is at work. You can equally submit to this process and actively entangle yourselves from things that can ensnare you. The pruning process mostly comes through trials Rom 5: 3-4. Only ask God to give you the wisdom to deal with the situation and to strengthen you.

PRAYER: Thank you for the pruning work you do in my life, continue to help me to produce the lasting fruit that brings you all the glory.
