THE SEED
“Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Ephesians 5:20 NKJV
David has always been a man after God’s heart because he gives thanks to God always and he knows how to praise God. People think it’s only when good things happen to them that they should give thanks to God, but the fact that you slept and woke up is God’s mercy Psalm 3:5.
In good and bad times, we should learn how to give thanks to God, because no matter how clear the sky is, there will surely be small dark patches. Job also understood this fact and blessed God even when he was in a sorrowful situation. He is God that can change situations and make them favour us, even as He promised not to leave us for once. We should give thanks to God every time, especially now, for the privilege to witness the new year. With the joy of the Lord in our hearts, let us sing hymnals, worship and praise songs to appreciate God’s goodness to us. obeying His commandments and following Him is also another way to give thanks to God, we should give thanks to God in all ways because we are created for that purpose. When you are asking God for a particular thing for a very long time and it’s not forthcoming, why don’t you just thank Him for it? Believe and trust Him for it and wait for the manifestation. Giving thanks to God will open a lot of doors that we don’t expect. Stop grumbling and start giving thanks to God with every opportunity you have and see how He changes your situation.

Dafidi ti máà njẹ́ ẹnì bi ọkàn Ọlọ́run nigbagbogbo nitori pe o máà n fi ọpẹ fun Ọlọ́run, o sì mọ bi a ti i dúpẹ́ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọrun. Àwọn eniyan ro pe nigba ti ohun rere ba sẹlẹ si wọn nìkan ni wọn le dupẹ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọrun ṣùgbọ́n nigbati o sun, ti o si ji, aanu Ọlọ́run ni. Psalm 3:5. Oun ni Ọlọrun ti o le yi awọn ipo pada ki o si ṣe wọn ni rere fun wa, bi o ti ṣe ileri pe Oun ko ni fi wa silẹ nígbà kankan. O yẹ ki a dupẹ lọwọ Ọlọrun ni gbogbo igba, paapaa ni bayi, fun anfani ti a ni, lati ri ọdun titun. Pẹ̀lu ayọ̀ Oluwa ninu ọkàn wa, ẹ jẹ́kí a kọ orin iyin, ori n ope ati orin ope lati fi rírì oore Ọlọ́run fun wa han. Ìgbọràn sí àwọn òfin Rẹ̀ àti títẹ̀lé e tún jẹ́ ọ̀nà míràn láti dúpẹ́ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọ́run, a gbọ́dọ̀ dúpẹ́ lọ́wọ́ Ọlọ́run ní gbogbo ọ̀nà nítorí pé a dá wa fún ṣíṣe bẹ ẹ. Nigbati o ba n beere lọwọ Ọlọrun fun ohun kan fun igba pipẹ ti ko si tẹ ọ lọ́wọ́ kankan, kilode ti o ko máa dupẹ lọwọ Rẹ fun ohun tí ó nreti? Gbagbọ ki o si ni igbẹkẹle nínú Rẹ, ki o duro de ifarahan naa. Fifun Ọlọrun ni ọpẹ a máà ṣí ọpọlọpọ awọn ilẹkun ti a ko nireti paapaa. Da ọwọ kikùn duro ki o si bẹrẹ sí fi ọpẹ fun Ọlọrun pẹlu gbogbo àǹfààní ti o ni; ki o wo bi yíò ṣe yi igba rẹ pada.
