GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU

THE SEED

“How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? forever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me” Psalms 13:1( KJV).

It is human to cry to God in times of distress. When the solution is not forthcoming you may think God has not heard you or has even forgotten you. This was the condition David found himself in, that he exclaimed,” How long will you forget me, how long will you hide your face from me?”. This psalm must have been written at a time when David found himself in anguish of soul. David is desperate that God should hear him and lighten his burden lest he dies and his enemies rejoice over him( Psalms 13: 3-4). As a child of God, certain situations may warrant you to doubt the presence of God in your boat or to ask if God is really in your boat. Elijah prayed for death when threatened by Jezebel. The Lord’s presence in your circumstances is assured. Jesus attests that He will never leave us nor forsake us when we need Him so that you can always say “The Lord is my helper I will not fear. What can man do to me?”. God’s divine promises are sure but depend upon your continuous faith in Jesus Christ. To them, they believe all things are possible.

PRAYER: Father, grant me the grace to know that you are always with me in any situation I find myself in and the grace to always come out in victory in Jesus’ name.
