HARVEST ALWAYS FOLLOWS SEEDTIME
THE SEED
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night, shall not cease.” Genesis 8: 22 NKJV
We often hear this scripture in connection to offerings and giving in church. However, this is a universal rule of existence. It is true in every other area of life. If you want a desired manifestation in any area of your life, you have to invest your resources in that thing now. What you want to see in your future, or those of your children, will require you to give of your time, energy, attention and even money, today. For example, if you desire to be more spiritual and connected to God, you don’t need to cry about it or go chasing after Anointed Servants of God to bless you and lay hands on you. What you need to do is invest your time in the Word of God and prayer. And begin walking in obedience to the Holy Spirit. You will certainly reap the harvest of deeper spirituality, manifesting in better and wiser decisions and results. It is a divine guarantee. If you pay better attention to how you manage your finances, you will see great improvement in the future. If you invest your time in your studies in school, it will pay off in your examinations and even in life. However, the opposite is true as well. If you spend your time and resources causing trouble where you live and work; or in your local church, trouble will come and live in your house in future. If you go around stealing from people, watch out! Somebody is coming to steal your goods as well one day. There are a few rules about Seedtime and Harvest that we all must note.
-
- You never just reap WHAT you sow, you always reap more; good or bad.
- You never reap WHEN you sow, it always comes back in the future, no matter how long it takes. Sow your Seed today, for the type of harvest you want to see tomorrow!
BIBLE READING: Psalm 126: 5 – 6
PRAYER: Father, help me to knowingly sow my resources today to get the future I desire tomorrow.
