HEARING GOD’S VOICE

THE SEED

“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” – John 8:47 (KJV)

Prayer is not only about speaking to God; it is also about listening to Him. Many times, we bring our long list of requests before the Lord, but fail to wait for His response. Just as a one-sided conversation leaves room for misunderstanding, so does prayer without listening. We can train ourselves to hear God’s voice by setting aside consistent time with Him, praying with Scripture, and allowing moments of silence in His presence. As we grow in this discipline, the Spirit of God guides us and confirms His will in our hearts. Jesus assures us that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him.

BIBLE READINGS:  John 10:1–10 (KJV)

PRAYER: Lord, help me to recognise and understand Your voice whenever You speak to me. Teach me to listen with patience and obedience, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
