THE SEED
“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” Genesis 1:27 (KJV)
From the foundation of creation, God established a divine and purposeful order by creating humanity in two distinct yet equally valuable expressions—male and female. This was not a random act but a reflection of His perfect wisdom, beauty, and intention. Each was made in His image, designed to complement the other and fulfil His will together. Jesus reaffirmed this truth when He declared, “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female” (Mark 10:6). In doing so, He pointed us back to the unchanging pattern of God’s design. Gender is not a social construct—it is a sacred part of God’s creation. It carries spiritual meaning and reflects His character. This distinction is seen most clearly in the institution of marriage. Genesis 2:24 reminds us, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Male and female were created to unite in a covenant relationship that models love, unity, and godly purpose. In a world increasingly confused about identity and truth, believers are called to stand firm in God’s Word. His design is not outdated—it is eternal. Embracing His creation order brings clarity, peace, and blessing. It reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that His ways are always right. Let us live with confidence in who God created us to be, honouring His design in our lives, our relationships, and our message to the world.

Láti ìpilẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìṣẹ̀dá, Ọlọ́run gbé ìlànà àtọ̀runwá àti ète rẹ̀ kalẹ̀ nípa dídá ẹ̀dá ènìyàn sí ọ̀nà méjì ọ̀tọ̀ọ̀tọ̀ síbẹ̀ tí ó ṣeyebíye—àkọ àti abo. Eyi kii ṣe iṣe lairotẹlẹ ṣugbọn afihan ọgbọn pipe, ẹwa, ati aniyan Rẹ. Olukuluku ni a ṣe ni aworan Rẹ, ti a ṣe lati ṣe iranlowo fun ekeji ati mu ifẹ Rẹ ṣẹ papọ. Jẹ́nẹ́sísì 2:24 rán wa létí pé: “Nítorí náà ọkùnrin yóò fi baba rẹ̀ àti ìyá rẹ̀ sílẹ̀, yóò sì fà mọ́ aya rẹ̀: wọn yóò sì di ara kan.” Ọkùnrin àti obìnrin ni a dá láti wà ní ìṣọ̀kan nínú ìbátan májẹ̀mú tí ó ṣàpẹẹrẹ ìfẹ́, ìṣọ̀kan, àti ète Ọlọ́run. Ninu aye ti o npọ si idamu nipa idanimọ ati otitọ, awọn onigbagbọ ni a pe lati duro ṣinṣin ninu Ọrọ Ọlọrun. Apẹrẹ rẹ kii ṣe igba atijọ — o jẹ ayeraye.
