“If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day.” Ephesians 4:26 GNT
The Bible doesn’t tell us that we shouldn’t feel angry, but it points out that it is important to handle our anger properly. The Bible tells us to deal with our anger immediately in a way that builds relationships rather than destroys them. If we nurse anger we will allow the Devil to divide us. Are you angry with someone right now? What can you do to resolve your differences? Don’t let the day end before you begin to work on mending your relationship.Have you ever been relieved that you didn’t lash out and say the wrong things that were really on your mind to someone? The Bible warned that “we must be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger” Jam.1:19. We must be careful of all our actions and reaction, we must put a stopwatch on our conversations and keep track of how much we talk and how much we listen. If we are angry for any reason, we should try as much not to say anything, being quiet will save us from pouring out abusive and thoughtless words that will damage others and make us displeasure in the sight of God.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please teach my heart not to sin against you in anger but to be careful and quiet when I am angry. Amen
