HOW TO OVERCOME DIVISION AND CONFLICT IN THE FAMILY
THE SEED
“If a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Mark 3:25 (KJV)
Families are God’s idea; a reflection of His love, order, and purpose. But just like the enemy sought to divide heaven, he also targets homes. Conflict and division in families can tear down what God intended to build up. However, through His Word and Spirit, healing and restoration are always possible. Overcoming division in the family begins with humility and intentional love. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough comes not from being right, but from choosing peace. Forgiveness is a powerful weapon; when we extend it, we invite God to work. Prayer must also be our foundation. Hearts are changed not just through arguments but through intercession and surrendering to God. Communication, empathy, and accountability also help bridge gaps. Don’t ignore issues; confront them with grace. Speak truth in love, and always seek the counsel of God’s Word. Remember, unity in the family doesn’t mean perfection; it means a commitment to love through the imperfections. Peace in the family is possible when Christ is at the centre. Let Him be the glue that holds your home together.
BIBLE READING: Colossians 3:12–17
PRAYER: Father, I lift my family to You. Heal every wound, calm every storm, and help us to walk in love, forgiveness, and unity. Make our home a reflection of Your peace. Amen.
