”And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 4:7
It has been a great privilege to travel this year with the peace of God in our lives. Having God’s peace does not mean that we don’t pass through challenges; it is the feeling we have that God is with us and He’s got our back. Reflecting on all the Lord’s goodness from the beginning of this year to now, if we are faithful our confession should be, ‘Lord I’m grateful’. The peace that Apostle Paul prayed for in our opening scripture is such that can not be understood by the flesh, it is the inner peace that is divine. It is for guidance to put our hearts and minds at ease in chaotic situations which I believe we have all had a taste of in the year.
Beloved, in a world filled with chaos, God’s peace is our refuge and fortress; it is just right to take a moment to thank God for the peace we have enjoyed from Him, especially in times of trouble. His peace surpasses all understanding, and it guards our hearts and minds. Be grateful for His calming presence that always assures us that all shall be well.
