IS YOUR ARMOUR COMPLETE?

IS YOUR ARMOUR COMPLETE?

THE SEED
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the Wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11–18 (KJV)A warrior going into battle ensures that his armour is complete, so he can fight effectively, defend himself, and withstand the attacks of the enemy. In the same way, believers must equip themselves with the full and strong armour of God because our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in high places. Wearing only part of the armour leaves a believer vulnerable to the enemy’s attack. The belt of truth—God’s Word— must be worn alongside the shoes of the gospel of peace, which enable us to spread the Good News through our actions and words. These are further complemented by the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, and the breastplate of righteousness. When a believer wears the full armour of God, they are spiritually fortified to resist every attack and scheme of the enemy. God desires that we live victoriously, but full victory is possible only when we are fully armed with His divine armour.

BIBLE READING: Ephesians 6:11–18
PRAYER: My Lord and King, I pray that You help me to put on the full spiritual armour, so I may be able to stand against every attack of the enemy. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
