JESUS, THE WAY

JESUS, THE WAY

THE SEED
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” John 14:6 (NKJV)

When Thomas asked Jesus how to know the Father, Jesus responded, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” To know God, we must first know Jesus. He is the Son of God who died for our sins so that we might be saved. Our salvation and access to the Father are made possible through Him. To know Jesus, we must accept Him as Lord and Savior, believe in His sacrificial death and resurrection, and live by His Word. As we pray, read Scripture, and walk in obedience, the Holy Spirit teaches us and draws us closer to God. Before Christ came, people needed priests to approach God on their behalf. But through Jesus, we now have direct access to God.
His death removed the veil and made a personal relationship with God possible for all who believe.
