Let Us Settle The Matter

THE SEED
Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1: 18 NIV

For any restoration process, there needs to be a plan for the process. As the verse indicates a call for correction, restoration, realignment, and progression. The process starts with confession which brings peace and forgiveness. Genuine confession brings peace into the life of the confessor.  His call to settle is not for you to reason with Him by rationalising your behaviour but to admit your imperfect and unacceptable behaviour. In v11-16, God gave a chance to His people for redemption despite their evil before Him. God is calling you wherever you are in the cycle of life. Are you still struggling against the wind? Use this verse, go to God, Pastor, husband, wife, children, or parents- let us settle the matter! Once settled, God will bring a solution into the situation for you.
