Letting Down The Nets

THE SEED
“When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Luke 5:4

My idea for a project I wanted to do came through a discussion of the idea with my 14-year-old child for an objective idea which has grown well and expanded due to the inspiration I received from her. I imagine the weeks I spent thinking about this, but nothing came by until I spoke to her. In relation to Luke 5: 1-11, v4 states the fishermen toiled all night with no result. However, Jesus wanted to convince them that it was not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God that they can achieve good result. This was necessary to establish His power. He commanded, they obeyed, and they were amazed at the results. We need to realise that for any change to happen in our lives, God’s power is important as He orchestrates and brings the good wind of fortune to blow towards us. Trusting and acting in obedience to His words will surely bring success our way.

PRAYER
Lord, help me to hear the voice that will bring my breakthrough to success.
