I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help? Psalms 121:1 KJV.
Beloved, lifting your eyes up unto God simply means seeking the face of God for a particular thing or things. The Psalmist in Psalms 121:1-2 sought the face of God for help, and he received help from God that dwells in the heaven of heavens. Is there a time limit for us to lift up our eyes unto God? No. Psalms 27:4 said one thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after, that l may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord… Before you can lift up your eyes unto God or seek the face of God for a particular thing or things, you must believe in Him that He is able to do all things and that He can make every impossibility possible. Have a reason for you to lift up your eyes unto God, you cannot just come before Him for nothing sake. Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8) KJV. Psalms 24:3-4 said who shall ascend unto the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart, who hath not lift up his soul unto vanity nor sworn deceitfully. You should have clean hands and a pure heart, then you will see God and you will be blessed by God. According to Psalms 24:5, he shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. God doesn’t want us to come, seek Him and go back empty handed without us receiving from Him.
