LIVING A LIFE OF TOTAL RELIANCE ON GOD
THE SEED
“My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.” – Psalm 63:8 (NKJV)This psalm was written by David during a time of hardship in the wilderness. Despite his circumstances, he expressed total dependence on God. Our soul is more than our physical being; it holds our emotions, will, and consciousness. To cling to God in both joy and sorrow reflects complete trust in Him. Just like a child who clings to their mother in every situation; whether happy, hungry, or hurting; we must hold on to God in all seasons.
Even when He disciplines us, we must remain in Him. His correction brings peace, healing, and spiritual growth. God’s love never fails, and His support is constant. Total reliance on Him is the surest foundation for life.
BIBLE READING: Psalm 63:1–8
PRAYER: My Father and my Lord, help me to remain in You and trust You completely, even in difficult times. May I emerge from every challenge with victory. Amen.
