Love Is An Indication Of God In You, Keep It Flowing

THE SEED

“God is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16.

Luke chapter 10 recorded Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan that goes thus: A man was attacked by robbers on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho. He was badly injured and was left to die in the pool of his blood. A certain priest saw him, look away and took another way. A Levite came along, saw him and did just what the priest did. Then came the Samaritan businessman on a business trip. When he saw him he had compassion, picked him up, bounded his wounds, put him in his vehicle, rode down to the nearby hospital, waited to see him resuscitated, pay the medical bill and promised to pay any outstanding on his way back from his trip. Lack of time is not the reason people don't render help or show love when others go through situations. The major reason is lack of COMPASSION. Among the three persons mentioned in this parable, I believe the Samaritan had more reasons to walk past the wounded man. Yet he SACRIFICED his TIME, ENERGY and RESOURCES because he had compassion. Without compassion, one cannot show Love. Compassion breaks every barrier that can limit the expression of love. As a child of God, the first indication that you are truly His, is love. Our body language; acts and actions should be defined in the word LOVE.

PRAYER
O Lord let your Love continue in me Amen.
