MAKING ROOM FOR RENEWAL

THE SEED
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing…” Isaiah 43:18-19a (NKJV)

As the final days of the year unfold, many of us are weighed down by memories, both good and painful. Yet, in Isaiah 43, God instructs us not to dwell on the past. He invites us to shift our focus forward, to prepare our hearts for the “new thing” He is about to do. This is not a call to denial, but to release. To step into renewal, we must first make room for it by releasing all our burdens to Christ. Clinging to the past can cloud our ability to perceive the present and embrace the future. Whether it’s a disappointment that lingers, a loss that aches, or even a victory that has turned into complacency, we are called to surrender it. God specialises in fresh starts. His mercies are new every morning, and especially at the dawn of a new season. Let this be a time of intentional release. What are you holding that no longer serves your journey? Let it go. God is not done with you; He is preparing to do a new thing in your life. Get ready to receive it!
