THE SEED
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
Our minds are not commonly God-worshiping minds. They are self-loving personalities.Our minds are the soul of our brains. In any case, God wants not just a change in our frame of mind at the hour of transformation; He wants a mind that is totally renewed. The reason the devil can succeed in influencing us is because we have not been freed completely from a carnal mind. We might begin with a narrow mentality which can’t endure others, or an obscured mind-set that can’t understand truth, or a bad attitude which can’t bear any significant obligation; and a short time later we slip into more profound sins. The mind is one of our natural endowments. God calls us to accept that our old man was crucified on the cross. From there on, we really need to acknowledge God’s judgment towards the old man and exercise our will to oppose or to put off its deeds including our old thoughts. We should come to the foot of the cross, ready to let go of our old mind-sets and ask God to give us a new mind.
PRAYER
Father Lord renew my mind according to your will and re-establish your Spirit in me in Jesus name

Ọkàn wa kii ṣe awọn ọkan ti o jọsin fún Ọlọrun ni igbagbogbo. Wọn jẹ awọn eniyan ti onifẹ ti ara ẹni. Ọkàn wa ní, ẹmi ọpọlọ wa. Bi o ti ṣe léwu kí o rí, Ọlọrun kò fẹ ayipada ti ọ́ kan ṣa lasan ni wakati ti ìràpadà: O fẹ́ ọ́ kan ti o ní isọdọtun pátápátá. Idi ti eṣu le ṣe aṣeyọri lori wa ni pe a ko tii ni ominira patapata kuro ninu ọkan ti ará. A lè bẹ̀rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú èrò inú tóóró tí kò lè fara da àwọn ẹlòmíràn, tàbí èrò inú ti o ṣókùnkùn tí kò lè lóye òtítọ́ , tàbí ìwà búburú tí kò lè farada ojúṣe pàtàkì kan; ati ni ẹhìn igba diẹ a o bọ̀ sinu awọn ẹṣẹ ti o jinlẹ diẹ. Ọkàn jẹ ọkan ninu awọn ẹbun adayeba wa. Ọlorun pe wa, lati gba wipe a kán ẹda atijọ wa mọ agbelebu. Lati ibẹ lọ, a nilo gaan lati jẹwọ idajọ Ọlọrun lórí ogbologbo okunrin naa: atí ki a lo ifẹ wa lati ta ko o, tabi lati pa awọn iṣe rẹ run kuro pẹlu awọn ero wa atijọ. A ni lati wá si ẹsẹ agbelebu, ni imurasilẹ lati lè kọ awọn ero inu wá àtijọ silẹ ki á si beere lọwọ Ọlọrun lati fun wa ni ọkan titun.
