Mountain Of Prayer

THE SEED
“And many nations shall come, and say come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob, and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths, for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Micah 4:2[KJV].

This is a secluded place where prayers can be rendered to God without any distraction, a special place to be alone to meet with your God in prayer. Your own mountain could be your house, hostel and especially a mountain far away in the bush where there is no noise at all. On the mountain, prayers do get answered because you are not doing any other thing except to talk to God, read your Bible and concentrate on what you left the comfort of your abode for. Then you receive messages from God, He directs your path, strengthens and empowers you to overcome the storms of your life. Moses met with God alone on mount Sinai before he could
get the commandment tablets. Jesus on the other hand went to the mountain to pray throughout the night to God His Father [Luke 6:12KJV]. So, going to the mountain is like you go for a retreat and rekindle the fire of God in you to become a prayerful and powerful Christian and not a prayerless and powerless child of God. Some churches engage in this once or twice a year to light up the fire of the Holy Ghost and to remove lukewarmness among their brethren.

PRAYER
May we in any of our mountains encounter with God to receive abundant blessings in Jesus Name. Amen
