THE SEED
“So Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
From the above scripture Jesus Christ makes it clear that it’s not the size of faith that matters, but just have one no matter how small.
Mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds but it produces the largest of all herbs when planted. The potential in a seed can only be realized when it is planted. This is the way faith works. Faith is by hearing and hearing the Word of God. The more you hear the word and let it be planted in you, it will produce the desired faith needed at a given time.
Your preoccupation therefore is to plant and cultivate the Word on the ground (your heart), by speaking the Word and meditating on it. The Word on the ground may look so insignificant at first, but it is guaranteed to outgrow and overcome whatever situation you are faced with. Next time you are in a difficult situation, find a word in the scripture to confront it and it will give way. The more you plant the Word of God in your heart and water it consistently with the confession of your mouth, the Word will outgrow the difficult situation and bring you victory.
