THE SEED
Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly realm in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 AMP
Believing in Jesus Christ comes with several blessings both physical and spiritual. We get blessed physically with the assurance that God had our back even when things get tough. Spiritual blessings on the other hand are blessings that come with the package of believing and accepting Christ. Although these blessings are not tangible, their effect radiates into our lives for people to see. As believers, we are richly blessed in all things. Some of these spiritual blessings include righteousness, sanctification and joint heirs with Christ. By Justification, Jesus Christ who knew no sin made himself a sinner for our sake and took our place to discharge and acquit us of guilt and from the punishment of our sins. The suffering that ought to be ours was placed on him, therefore as a result, we became guilt-free and righteous, that is, we now have the opportunity to be before God without condemnation. Without being Justified, we can never stand before God, we would have been filthy before him because God’s eyes cannot behold sin but because of Jesus, we now have the opportunity and privilege to have a right standing with God and to call him our Father, we have the boldness to live as Christ lived on earth and the hope that we would reign with him and be partakers in His Glory in heaven. With this, we were being consecrated to be different so that we may be identified with him here on earth as his ambassadors and in heaven as his saints.
