PURSUE AND RECOVER ALL

  PURSUE AND RECOVER ALL

THE SEED

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying shall I pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. I Samuel 30:8.

As human beings on earth, it is God’s desire that we prosper in this world and do exploits for God. However, sometimes we encounter challenges that might seem to overwhelm us or we fail to attain the level of success we desire as children of God. In other instances, we might experience setbacks, lack or loss of something or someone special to us. As David enquired of the Lord in a situation that seems hopeless, we must ask, believe and rely on God on the right steps we should take to fully fulfill God’s purpose. Thereafter, we must obey His instructions and take steps of faith on the path of righteousness which will lead us to attaining our full potential as God’s children. We must show mercy to others as people who desire the mercy of God. We must also look inwards, by verifying if there are instructions given to us personally by God, that we have not fully obeyed. Thereafter, we must retrace our steps to fully obey God, who loves unconditionally. This will help us to definitely pursue and ultimately recover all the goodness of God that we desire or have lost.

BIBLE READING: 1 Samuel 30: 8-18.

PRAYER: My father and my Lord, I come to you today, to guide me, teach me and equip me with all I need to pursue and recover all I have lost and attain the great heights you desire for me in Jesus name, Amen.
