Recognizing God’s Handiwork

THE SEED
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. Psalm 33:6

It can be challenging to comprehend what God is doing in your life, but over time I have discovered that there are various ways we can spot His fingerprints: First, God does strong and creative activity. He wove each of us together while still within our mother’s womb. He created heaven, earth, and all living things. Then, through means of His Son Jesus, He successfully brought about everyone who places their faith in the Saviour to be saved. He also welcomed all Christians into His family. Second, by focusing our petitions on Christ and keeping them close to the Lord, we can better see God’s work. We may more easily recognise His deeds and understand how to join Him when we actively and constantly pray. Thirdly, a yielding heart can see clearly the work of God, preparing us to pay attention and follow directions. Regularly focusing on God’s Word can help us understand what the Lord is doing as well as clear our minds. Have you been preoccupied or preoccupied enough not to notice what God is doing? These items can give you a new perspective on how to see His work. Recognize your loss of focus and turn your attention back to the Lord.

PRAYER
Oh Lord, give me a yielding heart so that I can see your faithfulness towards me and also recognize your work in my life, Amen.
