SALVATION

SALVATION

THE SEED

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26 NKJV

Salvation is a process not a one-time event, it’s a gift that God offers to us His children. God works through us to share Christ’s love and grace with the world. Salvation means becoming more and more like Christ. Because of Christ, believers are granted salvation from sìn and the promise of eternal life. In Christianity, salvation is the saving of human beings from sin and its consequences which are death and eternal separation from God. The Bible itself taught us how to receive salvation. Salvation is a gracious, undeserved gift of God and it’s only available through faith in Jesus Christ. Here are the names of some people who received salvation in the bible: Zacchaeus, the criminal on the cross, the Ethiopian eunuch, the jailor and Cornelius. We should endeavour to accept Jesus Christ and recognise that we have sinned against God.  We have to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he died on the cross of Calvary for our sins, He rose again on the third day for our victory, and we should believe in our hearts and make confessions with our mouth that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.

BIBLE READING: Romans 10: 7 – 11.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you, wash me and cleanse me with your blood. Amen.
