SANCTIFICATION IS A PROCESS

THE SEED

”…that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,“ Eph 4:22-23

Beloved of Christ, sanctification is a process, a gradual process that needs our willingness and total submission to do away with corruption. It’s not about the immediate perfection of this world but a process that takes us through steps of instructions to transform our lives into God’s expectation. Saul’s life met Christ when he was zealous to eradicate children of God who believe in the name of Jesus, he met Christ himself and his process of sanctification began. He embraced Christ and changed his name to Paul. He turned from being an accuser of brethren to a brother, and he never looked back again despite all the trials and tribulations he had to endure. The life-threatening tribulations and challenges he faced and overcame through the help of the Holy Spirit continue to speak of his sanctified life in Christ till this generation. Apostle Paul’s life is one of the great examples that can be emulated in Christ. Beloved, be challenged to start your process of sanctification today and if you have, be encouraged to never look back, the process will pay off in the end when we meet with our Lord Jesus and He will welcome us to the prepared glorious eternal home.

BIBLE READINGS:  Philippians 3:12-15

PRAYER: Lord, I embrace your gift of sanctification today, help me to follow the due process so that my life will be moulded into the person you designed me to be in Jesus Name. Amen
