THE SEED
”For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.“ Isaiah 9:6 ESV
As December begins, we step into the Advent season, a time of celebration and expectant hope. In Christian communities around the world, Advent refers to a four-week season of remembering the arrival of Jesus on Earth in celebrations. It’s a time to reflect on the nature of Jesus’ humble birth as well as the anticipation of when he will come back as He promised to take His own Home. This is a significant time in the lives of believers, it reminds us of the reality of our belief in Christ. We don’t just believe in what does not exist but in the son of God who has come to give us salvation to reconcile us to God. We celebrate Jesus as our hope is anchored in the words of the prophet Isaiah in the opening scripture above; unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; … Do you believe that Jesus was born because of you and given as the sacrifice for your sins? Amid the preparations for this celebration, let us remember that our ultimate hope rests in Jesus, the Prince of Peace. His birth brought hope to the world in need of redemption, and to as many who believe in His name, as JESUS the son of the living God.

Ìbí rẹ̀ mú ìrètí wá fún ayé tí ó nílò ìràpadà, àti fún iye àwọn tí ó gba orúkọ rẹ̀ gbọ́, gẹ́gẹ́ bí JÉSÙ ọmọ Ọlọrun alààyè.
