THE CHOSEN ONE

THE SEED

Many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew. 22: 14(KJV)

God works out his plan to extend his love to everywhere around the world through one group of individuals. When we invite others into the story of God’s love, we are also living out of our identity as God’s chosen people. What does Jesus mean when He says that many are called? The word ‘call’ means the invitation of God through his servants. Jesus teaches that those who refuse the call are culpable for refusing it, that is they’re condemned or blamed for refusing it. Those who sincerely respond to the call and receive Christ in faith, Jesus calls them the chosen. This call bids men and women to come to Christ by way of repentance and faith. Many are called but not chosen. God want us to have salvation and life in Jesus by Grace alone. And it’s only in Christ Jesus we can find an everlasting foundation, Peace and Joy. Individuals who realise they have been called for a greater purpose,  possess genuine qualities and have a strong desire to help others to Christ. God has chosen us to be a special people, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people,  and we should shew forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvellous light.
