THE SEED
”Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Emmanuel.“ Isaiah 7:14 NKJV
In December, for those who can afford it, we exchange gifts to express our love and appreciation for one another, though not everyone can give these gifts because of the economic situation of the world today. However, God has made provision for the most precious gift ever given, to be shared among the brethren which is God’s presence with us. In this season, let’s meditate on this precious gift, acknowledge it and cherish it, believing that with God’s presence in our lives, it becomes impossible to lack our needs for the celebration of Christ’s birth. The birth of Jesus signifies God’s desire to dwell among us, to be present in our lives; to lead, direct and connect us with our destiny helpers, to fight our battle and give us victory. To silence our enemies and put songs of praise and joy in our mouths. As we make preparations to celebrate Christmas, let us not forget the gift of God’s presence. As we celebrate with loved ones, remember that the greatest gift of all is Emmanuel, “God with us.” This December, seek His presence in prayer, in the Word, and in the faces of those you encounter.
