THE SEED
“The heart is deceitful above all things And desperately wicked; Who can know it?“ Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV
The heart of man is considered to be the most vital organ, the seat of life and strength. Though it plays a significant role in helping to maintain a healthy circulatory system in physical function, it’s however divinely overshadowed by its overall Spiritual function. It is believed that the heart is inclusive of the mind, soul and Spirit of man and therefore, it has remained God’s only “ACCESS” point to mankind. The only medium that authorises God’s entrance into our lives unhindered as well as the devil’s. As a child of God, what do you have in your heart? Evil or Good? Happiness or sadness? Curse or Blessings? Hatred or Love? What makes the heart of a man desperately wicked as pointed out in the opening verse is the evil thoughts that we allow to penetrate, entertain and remain there. To keep our hearts pure before God we need to think deeply about the love of God and allow it to dwell in our hearts so that our hearts will be filled with love towards other people and be built to reject evil that corrupt the heart. This is the only way you too can get through to the Almighty, because God Himself is L O V E. Do not harbour evil in your heart, it makes the heart wicked.
