The Parable Of The Sower II

THE SEED
“…Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.…” Mk. 4:5-6 NKJV

It is easy to shout a thunderous ‘AMEN IN JESUS NAME!’ when the Holy Spirit pronounces a blessing upon us. However let us be warned, any endeavour we undertake in line with that blessing must overcome opposition from our enemy. We must not allow it to fall on stony ground in our hearts. So we have to receive the message of God deeply and be prepared to stand our ground. So that when mockery arises and persecution shows up because of the word of promise or salvation that we have heard we can remain unmoved. The Word of God is still true no matter the weather, no matter how you feel. No matter what is going on around you. Stand your ground!

BIBLE READING: Acts 8:1-6

PRAYER: Heavenly Father I declare my faith is not based on how excited I am. My faith remains in what You have said over my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
