THE PEACEFUL AND HARMLESS GARDEN

THE SEED

”The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food…“ Isaiah 65:25

True to the words of the Lord’s prayer, as it is in heaven, surely so it is on earth. God is so faithful and practical to leave us with the imagination of His spoken word, He always leaves us with scenarios that we can connect with to give us an understanding of His intentions. In a deep reflection on the scripture, it came to me that in the Holy Mountain of God, truly there will be no harm or destruction whatsoever according to His Word. This also makes me plugged into an imagination of how peaceful our heavenly city would be and the relaxation we would enjoy knowing that no harm could come to us under the divine protection of God Almighty. In connection to the description of our heavenly city from the book of Revelations chapter 22, where serenity is the order and Christ himself the light, it brings me the urgency of my preparation to be ready when it is time to go home to be with the Saviour, my Father and your Father. I don’t want to disappoint God by missing all the preparations the Lord has made for me to reign with the Holy Trinity. What about you? Beloved, it is of great importance to let the thoughts of reaching home at last to be with our loving Father, consume our minds so that we can be ready when the time comes to be with Him in the city of peace.

BIBLE READINGS:  Revelation 22:1-5

PRAYER: Lord, let the longing to be with you at last rest on me and prepare me for the great entrance to my heavenly home, in Jesus’ name. Amen
