THE SEED
“But when the set time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law.” Galatians 4:4 (NIV)
Long before the star lit the night sky over Bethlehem, a glorious day of our Saviour’s birth, God had already spoken a promise. The book of Galatians 4:4 reminds us that Jesus came at the set time, not a moment too early or too late. His arrival in a humble manger was the fulfilment of centuries of prophecy and patient waiting. Christmas is the glorious evidence that God keeps His word. On this Christmas Eve, we are reminded that every delay in our lives is still under divine control. Heaven never rushes, and God never forgets. Whatever He has spoken concerning your life is about to manifest for all eyes to see and praise His Holy name. Jesus birth is the meeting of prophecy and perfect timing. His coming was not only timely for history; it was timely for humanity. Just as the world longed for a Saviour, we too long for promises fulfilled, prayers answered, and hopes restored. And just as the world waited and rejoiced, we are called to wait with expectancy, knowing God will act at the right moment. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas Day, may we pause to marvel at the wonder of the Incarnation: God becoming man, not with publicity, but in quiet faithfulness. The Promise has come. Because He came, hope lives. Because He lives, every promise still stands.
