THE ROAD OF HOLINESS

THE SEED

”A highway shall be there, and a road. And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.“ Isaiah 35:8 NKJV

This path can never allow one with any load of sin, we must do away with it and put on the Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ before we can be allowed to walk the path of Holiness. The believers in Christ are the righteous ones who have found the highway of God’s holiness. We must hunger for righteous life. We must purge ourselves from all sinful activities, accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and remain obedient to God and His word. The following are the fruits of the Spirit we must possess if we want to go through the path of holiness, Humility, love, tolerance, discipline, peace and faithfulness to mention but a few. When all these virtues manifest in our lives, we move towards being fully centred on God’s will. We should also yearn to serve Him in all things, at all times. Make sure to tread the path to holiness in order to live and have our being in Him. Do not swerve to the right or the left; turn your foot away from evils.  God help us all in Jesus’ Name.

BIBLE READINGS:  Isaiah 35: 1 – 9

PRAYER: Oh Lord, my God; help me through the power of your Holy Spirit to tread the path of holiness till Eternity in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
