THE SEED
“Can I forget any longer the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed? Shall I acquit the man with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights?” Micah 6:10-11 ESV
According to words from the Holy Spirit, the unrighteous shall harvest, eat and not be satisfied, but the righteous shall harvest, eat and will be satisfied.
What is your work? It may seem getting away with unfaithfulness or defrauding others to live a luxurious life is materially profitable now, but have we ever wondered why there is no peace and satisfaction for such people? It’s in accordance with God’s judgement in Micah 6:14 “You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty, you will store up but save nothing, because what you save, I will give to the sword”.
God is just in all His ways; He will not acquit the man with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights. Brethren, there are abundance of situations, messages, and influences that can persuade us to do evil, but it is wise to reject the devil and his suggestive acts of wickedness totally. Give your life to Christ to enjoy satisfaction in your endeavours and always remember that God will not withhold anything good from those who walk uprightly. Ps 84: 11.
PRAYER
Lord, help me to live righteously and be satisfied with my life.
