THE SEED
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies… Psalm 23:5

The Psalmist in the opening verse came to the realisation that when God is present, He causes even your enemies to be at peace with you. In front of his brothers, who had never shown any respect for him, David was crowned king of Israel. In actuality, a table was set for him in the presence of his adversaries. God made David ready to take the throne of Israel, and he ended up becoming the best king to ever rule Israel. They were unable to prevent him from ascending to the throne. Similar to how the enemy and his minions of darkness cannot prevent God’s children from realising God’s dream. Our enemies can include those who are physically hostile to us, the devil, concern, humiliation, resentment, rage, or a variety of other people who we believe to be hostile but cannot see. However, we are aware of their approach in our minds. God frequently sets a feast for us in front of our adversaries, but we are unable to eat because of illness or fear. Be aware that although you have adversaries, they are powerless to prevent you from realising what God has in store for you. Since God does actually provide a table before you in the face of your enemies, if you spend more time with Him in prayer, reading His word, and thinking of Him more, you will be able to recognise that despite everything the world has to offer.

PRAYER
Oh Lord God, wear me the garment of glory that the enemy may know that you are my God.
