THE SEED
“To this end I also labour, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.” Colossians 1:29
Apostle Paul was called to take the gospel to the Gentiles in his day. On this special task, he laboured for the gospel to be preached and heard by the Gentiles so that they could be presented righteous to be glorified with Christ. This was Paul’s experience, today as true followers of Christ, we draw a great strength from this experience. So as an ambassador of God’s kingdom on earth, we have been called to labour on taking the gospel of our Lord Jesus to the corners of the world, which is a great task. Along with this, we also need to labour and strife by the power of Christ that lives in us, to keep ourselves away from presumptuous sin that can make our labour fruitless before God. Also, we must make living in love with our brethren and all people a priority. By this, we are being recognized as children of God and representative of His kingdom on earth. This will also project the gospel of Christ in a positive way that will encourage people to accept the gospel through us.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to labour to project your love for people to see the truth and also strife to avoid sin that will make my labour fruitless before you. Amen

Pẹ̀lú èyí àwa náà nilo lati ṣiṣẹ ati ki a si gbiyanju nipasẹ agbara Kristi ti o ngbe ni inu wa lati pa ara wa mọ kuro ninu ẹṣẹ ikú-gbuu ti o le sọ iṣẹ wa di asan niwaju Ọlọrun. Pẹlu eyi a gbọdọ mu gbigbe ninu ifẹ pẹlu awọn arakunrin ati gbogbo eniyan ni pataki. Nipasẹ eyi ti a ka wa yẹ gẹgẹ bí awọn ọmọ Ọlọ́run àti àwọn aṣojú Ìjọba rẹ̀ lórí Ilẹ̀ ayé. Èyí yíò tún tàn ìhìn rere Kristi kalẹ̀ lọ́nà tí yíò fún àwọn ènìyàn ní iṣìírí láti tẹ́wọ́ gba ìhìnrere náà nípasẹ̀ wa.
