WHAT IS YOUR EXPECTATION

THE SEED
“If in this life we only have hope in Christ, we are of all men miserable.”1 Cor.15:19

No one comes to this world and will not leave someday. It is not the leaving that matters, but where we end up after leaving. A lot of people are in this world, not prepared for where they will eventually end up. They only live for this world. Jesus, through his teachings, says we should not lay up treasures for ourselves upon the earth. He also says that, in his Father’s house, there are many mansions and that he has gone to prepare a place for the saints. In Matt. 6:33, he further says, “We should seek first the kingdom of God and every other thing shall be added unto us. However, men are not obeying his words. It is evident that whatever man achieves on earth, he leaves when his time is up. He takes nothing out. Yet, many don’t prepare for life after this world. Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor.15:19 that if only what our interests in this world is for only worldly gains, that will amount to nothing at departure, then, you are most miserable. Many, come to Christ for children, wealth, prosperity, jobs, etc, but never had an interest in eternal life with Christ. They are the people, Apostle Paul says, are most miserable for what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. Think about this.
