THE SEED
“Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” Genesis 16:13 NKJV
No matter how small and insignificant you are in your eyes, God sees and knows you. You may not be famous or popular. You may not be a Reverend, or Prophet or Apostle, or a popular Minister of God, but you are important in God’s eyes. Hagar felt she was nothing; a pregnant slave. And she was indeed nothing; she had no status or position in the society. She was instead the sole property of Sarah, her mistress. However, God saw her and intervened in her affliction. And she named Him, ‘the God who sees me’. Isn’t that wonderful? He is interested in your welfare. No matter how small you think you are, you have a place in God’s heart. He sees you, you may go unnoticed by the ‘superstars in your community, but God notices you. He sees the gold in you, your talents, and your gifts. Others may not recognise what makes you special. But the God we serve is the God who sees us.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank You that you see me and know me. I may not be important to the people around me today, but I am important to you. Thank you, Father. Amen.
